Task 6, the best in my area

Hi,

now I've to tell you about who is the best in my area in my opinion. Well, this is very difficult to me because as I said in the last post the psychology has many development areas, so in each one there are many people than have done important contributions. So like the clinical area is the most important for me I think than I'll chose of here...but this is a problem too jaja!! because in clinical are a lot of people than have contribuited with theories about disorders, therapies, techniques, research and so on. I have to say than I haven't a favorite person in this sence, but in my last work I had to ivestigate about cognitive therapy...I have to recognize than isn't my favorite tratment line but it has a lot of evidence in relation to efficacy and efectiveness, so its autor - Aaron Beck- have a lot of merit.

Aaron beck developed the cognitive therapy at the beginnings of 60' years as a form of tratment for the depression, he elaborated his treatmement based in the cognitive theory about the mental disorders - schematas interacts with situations across selective atentions and inference processes, producing individual emotional reactions- so he proposes than how the people think afects their emotional well-being. So he developed a treatment based in the conception than if I change my thinking form probably my feels and behvior will be better.

The important about this contributions is that moreover of serves to depression treatment -very important having present than this mental disorder is one of the most affects to the world population- is useful too for many others disorders, like nervous bulimie(?), anxiety, substance abuse, premenstrual syndrome, chronicle pain, crhonicle fatigue and so on. Actually Aaron Beck is works in research about treatment for Schizophrenia -considerated as a disorder only manageable with pharmacotherapy-, if this treatment results efficace it'll benefit to a lot of people than until now have not been other tratment alternative.

So...his line into the clinical isn't my favourite but I've to recognize that he's the best in his area!!!!
